Meeting called to order at 4:30pm.
Treasurer’s Report - Kris
- $350 profit on HIPAA CE meeting. We are changing our banking relationship to National City.
President’s Report – Doug: No report.
Membership Report – Tim
- 89 total members, 1 termination this month.
Communications Report
- Benefits Beat goes out on 4/11.
- Doug and Dave will split role as Communications Chair. Doug will handle Benefits Beat, Dave working with the media.
Legislative Report
- Presentations available at NAHU.ORG from Capital Conference / Doug sent letters to all Representatives seen.
- (AI) Dave will contact Pam Gaynor.
Programs/Education Report – Don
- Section105 course possibilities (CE), Steve Jackson possible after July 4th.
- (AI) Call Dennis, set up sponsorship for 105 – Chad.
- (AI) Don check with American College about costs for RHU classes for group.
Technology – Holly
- Holly is working with Mark Shaffer to update Pgh-AHU Web Site.
Awards - No report.
New Business
- New Board membership elections – looking for new Secretary and VP.
- Board will absorb the cost of the members who did not go to conference because of the war in Iraq.
- (AI) HUPAC 10/20 program encouraged for all Board members.
- (AI) Ken will check into printing of business cards for all board members.
- Golf outing: Dave confirmed 16 are paid to golf.
- Golf outing (AI) Dave send e-mail to all former participants.
- Golf outing (AI) Possible follow up calls.
- Golf outing (AI) Don calling CBM about sponsorship.
